Emergency entrance hours: Arrivals will need to enter the hospital via the emergency entrance between the hours of 9 pm and 5 am.

Labor and delivery unit: Take the elevator to the third floor and follow the signs to the birth unit.

Labor and delivery rooms: The birth unit rooms are combined labor/delivery/recovery rooms. After the birth, new moms will move to a room on the Women's Unit for their postpartum stay.

Labor aids: Birth balls and squat bars are available. A prenatal class is available on the use of TENS units during labor and those who have completed the class may check out a unit during labor. Several rooms have their own whirlpool tubs, and there is an additional tub available to those who do not have one in their room. Waterbirth is not offered, but has been known to occur accidentally from time to time.

Breastfeeding support: The hospital has a lactation program available to offer assistance while in the hospital and after discharge. The breastfeeding support group meets every Tuesday from 1-3 pm at 1025 Pennock Place, Suite 115 (behind the Pizza Hut on Lemay, north of the hospital). Free support groups meet in Greeley and Windsor. The Greeley group meets Mon-Fri from 9-11:30 am at Community of Christ Church, 2813 13th St. The Windsor group meets Mon, Wed, and Fri from 12:30-2:30 pm at Medical Arts Center of Windsor, 1300 Main St. Call the hospital lactation program for details.
